The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2026 is on show at Trinity Buoy Wharf from 17 September to 4 October before touring to venues in the UK. The show has been selected by Anita Taylor (artist, Professor of Fine Art at the University of Dundee & founding director of the Prize), Matthew Burrows MBE (artist & founder of the Artist Support Pledge) and Sook-Kyung Lee (Director of the Whitworth & Professor of Curatorial Practices at The University of Manchester).

Charlotte’s work Medicine, was one of 92 works that were selected from over 2,500 entries submitted from 48 countries worldwide. Medicine is part of Charlotte’s Women Portraits: Trades & Professions project.

Shaped with a scalpel or a sewing machine, bold, adventurous women emerge from canvas, paper and ceramic works in this two-person show at jaggedart with Charlotte Hodes and Batool Showghi.

Charlotte will display new ceramic works from her Conversations en Plein Air and Women Portraits: Trades & Professions series, alongside papercuts and woodcuts.

Presented by Crafts Council, and recognised as being at the forefront of the contemporary craft movement, this year marks the 22nd edition of Collect. At Collect, jaggedart exhibited EARTH showcasing works in wood, hawthorn, grasses, clay, textiles and paper. jaggedart are now presenting these works from 10 March until 2 April at their London gallery as Re-Collect. Charlotte Hodes is exhibiting new vases from Women Portraits: Trades & Professions.

Dreams and Desires brings together work by nine jaggedart artists as part of their seasonal exhibition in the lead up to Christmas, highlighting the unusual and delicate use of materials. Charlotte will be presenting plates from her new project Women Portraits: Trades & Professions.

Complimenting and celebrating the extraordinary interiors of the newly restored Grade 1 listed Georgian townhouse, The Sherborne, Recurring Intricacies brings together photography, ceramics, papercuts and sculpture made by three female artists: Helen Sear, Charlotte Hodes and Amanda Benson.⁠ The exhibition takes visitors on a journey through the ‘recurring intricacies’ of the eighteenth century, celebrating Sherborne House’s fascinating, colourful, cultural and theatrical past.⁠ Charlotte Hodes’s long ceramic table installation Conversations en Plein Air presents a playful analogy between French 18th century ‘Fêtes galantes’ paintings, Manet’s ‘Le Déjeuner sur l’herbe’ and the picnic as a pertinent metaphor for our experience during the Covid-19 pandemic.

From Joséphine Bowes: Trendsetters and Trailblazers is a landmark exhibition at The Bowes Museum honouring the pioneering spirit and 200th anniversary of museum co-founder, Joséphine Bowes. The exhibition offers a glimpse into how Joséphine’s remarkable understanding of artistic trends and cross-genre approach to collecting might have shaped the collection today. Showcasing three centuries of eclectic art and creativity through a curated selection of works from The Bowes Museum’s collection and major loans from across the UK, Europe and United States. Charlotte will be exhibiting ceramic vases and a large papercut as part of the exhibition.

The Women’s Art Collection: Conversation Not Spectacle at Murray Edwards College exhibition title draws on the words of feminist art historian Professor Griselda Pollock at the Collection’s launch in 1992. Of the artworks and the Collection’s radical potential, she declared: “Hanging here together, they provide not a dumb spectacle but a model of conversation.” The exhibition spans three decades, starting with the very acquisition and leading up to the present day featuring artists from the collection such as Paula Rego, Faith Ringgold, Elisabeth Frink and Charlotte Hodes.

At Collect, jaggedart will exhibit a Garden Room – the luscious vitality of the plant world will delight through paper cut-out hydrangeas, bronze thistles, porcelain flowers, hawthorn sculptures, dandelion weaves and silk grasses, revealing an exuberance of organic forms and botanical intricacies. Charlotte Hodes will be presenting vases from Conversations en Plein Air, as well as papercuts from a new series that feature women at work.

Burning Desire at jaggedart featured over 25 artists represented by jaggedart as part of their seasonal exhibition in the lead up to Christmas. Charlotte presented papercuts from her most recent series.

Collective Care at LCF, University of the Arts London, is curated by Dr. Leila Nassereldein. It brings together six artists and researchers exploring the many facets of care through fashion, art and social commentary. In a world that often prioritises individualism, this exhibition⁠ challenges us to reimagine care as a dynamic force that weaves together our personal well-being with the flourishing of our communities and the planet.⁠ Charlotte will be exhibiting artworks from her project Conversations en Plein Air.
