The Print Studio, Ruthin Craft Centre, Wales, 15 October 2022 – 8 January 2023
The Print Studio explores the myriad ways that artists have used printmaking techniques as part of their practices. From crafting techniques such as wood engraving or etching, to using new digital technologies, producing very different images.
This exhibition will be the first in a series of print exhibitions at Ruthin which will take a closer look at the connection between craft and printmaking. It will present works from established artists such as David Nash, Laura Ford, Clare Woods, Sue Williams and Charlotte Hodes as well as emerging artists from or connected to Wales, including Molly Rooke, Melissa Rodrigues and Coral Williams.
The exhibition will also include works by - Emma Aldridge, Paul Coldwell, Emily Cook, Angela Davies, Rose Davies, Tara Dean, Antonia Dewhurst, Alex Duncan, Hannah Firmin, Des Hughes, Steffan Hughes-Jones, Sarah Garvey, Tom Goddard, Catrin Grosse, Flora McLachlan, Nigel Morris, Jeanette Orrell, Jamie Reid, Léa Sautin, Emrys Williams, Craig Wood and Peter Finnemore.
