‘The Cut’ at Candida Stevens Fine Art, Chichester 13.06.15 – 15.07.15

Charlotte exhibited large scale hand cut papercuts, laser cut prints and ceramics. The laser cut prints were made at the Centre for Fine Print Research (CFPR), University of the West of England, Bristol, UK as part of an AHRC funded research project. Ceramics vases represented include two from her series ‘Concise History of Vessels’ which take the ceramic vase, with its female connotations as a three dimensional canvas around which are juxtaposed both images of vases, from the classical through to the everyday, alongside the female figure.
